Mengatasi lamanya proses "Setting up BBM"

Tidak sedikit laporan dari agan-agan yang masuk ke saya mengenai tutorial BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) ARM v6 dimana macet di Setting up BBM, berikut saya kutip dari saah satu postingan di KasKus gan, semoga bisa menjadi pencerahan, kutipan berikut ini bukan dalam bahasa Indonesia. :D

BBM for Android and iPhone does not proceed past the “Setting up BBM” screen
When attempting to launch or sign into BBM for Android and iPhone, the application hangs on the Setting up BBM screen with a spinning circle.
The following can cause this issue: 

• The date, time, or year is set incorrectly on the device which is causing the authentication process to fail.

• The device is unable to connect to the BBM Infrastructure.

• There are a number of Android specific settings that can affect the Setting up BBM process.

Cause 1
The date, time, or year is set incorrectly on the device which is causing the authentication process to fail.
Resolution 1
Check the date, time, and year settings on the device to ensure that each is correct. To locate or modify these settings, see product documentation or contact the manufacturer for assistance.
Cause 2
The device is unable to connect to the BBM Infrastructure.
Resolution 2
The process of Setting up BBM requires an active data connection to the BBM Infrastructure over port 443. 
If the device has less than a full signal, move to an area with better coverage. If the current Wi-Fi network or cellular network does not support this type of connection, select another Wi-Fi network (if available) or toggle between the Wi-Fi and cellular connections.
Note: If the device is in Airplane mode, with all wireless radios turned off, disable Airplane mode before attempting to setup BBM.
Cause 3
There are a number of Android specific settings that can affect the Setting up BBM process.
